Proposed Pengwedna Chicken Farm Published: Feb 2019

Review of permit application for egg laying chicken farm at Pengwedna Poultry Farm, Nancegollan

We will be holding a public drop-in at Nancegollan village hall on 26 February 2019 from 12pm to 7pm.

Environment Agency employees will be at the hall to explain the permit application process and our decisions to date. They will also explain what the permit does and does not cover along with what further issues and concerns that can and cannot be considered in the final stages of the decision-making process.

The environmental permit applied for relates to the control of emissions from the facility on the environment and people’s health.  It does not relate to issues such as the choice of location of the site, traffic movements to/from the site, visual impact, operating hours and light pollution.
