A394 maintenance programme

As part of our planned programme of works, overnight road closures will be
in place from Monday 7 September on the A394 to allow us to carry out routine
maintenance activities. Work will include minor repairs, gully emptying, sign
cleaning and verge and hedge cutting. Works will be carried out at night between 7.00pm
and 6.00am, prioritising times when traffic levels are low. As we work along the A394, we will carry
out our activities in phases to keep road closures within the locality as short as possible, minimising
disruption.
While the road closures are in place, all through traffic will need to follow the diversions at all
times. Bus services will be given access through the closed sites, driving slowly to maintain a safe
working environment for our teams. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
