These determine the way that the council and its meetings operate.

All councillors must abide by this, which includes a requirement for councillors to declare various interests.

This contains details of everything owned by the council.

 

 

Risk Assessment 2024-2025
This document ensures that the council has taken the necessary steps to protect its assets, and to ensure its continuing operation and financial viability.

 

 

Freedom of Information Act –  Model Publication Scheme
This has been prepared and approved by the Information Commissioner, and commits the council to make information available to the public as part of its normal business activities.

 

 

Equality& Diversity Policy 3 August 2021
The purpose of this policy is to provide equal opportunities to all employees, irrespective of their gender, race, ethnic origin, disability, age, nationality, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, marital status or social class.

The council’s policy is to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for our employees, and to provide such information, instruction, training and supervision as they need for this purpose.

The purpose of this policy is to define the roles and responsibilities within the Council for working with the media and deals with the day-to-day relationship between the Council and the media.
